Each of our groups will be led by a member of our expert team and all runners will be assigned to a group reflecting their ability- no one will ever be left behind! Common questions

Q- What level of fitness do I need to take part?

A- We will have a number of groups available. We recommend that you can run at least 5 miles on the road for you to enjoy yourself fully and please bear in mind that we will be covering 12 miles. All groups will take walking breaks if needed and no one will ever be left behind. Our groups are all run at a sociable pace and there will be lots of opportunities for you to learn the skills needed to improve your trail running.

Q- What equipment do I need?

A- The weather in Britain is very changeable as we all know- so we strongly advise that you come prepared for the likely eventualities! Here are some things that we recommend you bring:

-Trail shoes- especially if the weather has been wet!

-Wicking top and suitable shorts or leggings.

-Extra top layer. You can get very cold on the trails even on nice days if you are forced to stop!

-We recommend that you carry a lightweight waterproof jacket.

-Warm hat or sun cap depending on the time of year.

-Sun cream

-Water- around 250-500ml should be enough.

– Trail snacks

-Map and compass of the area- all our guides are equipped but you may find that this comes in useful.

-fully charged phone in a waterproof bag.

-lightweight running bag or vest to put it all in!

This may seem intimidating but don’t let it put you off! You will be running with experienced runners and all you really need is your trainers and some common sense!
